Health for Industry offers acute injury management in many of its clinics, and we are equipped to treat most occupational injuries and illnesses. Injuries are given priority within those clinics which are situated where they are needed, in the heart of industrial hubs or CBD's, and unlike general practice clinics, we only treat workplace and occupational injuries, ensuring the highest level of expertise possible.
We also offer a 'second opinion' service to employers. This is used by some clients every time an employee suffers a work related injury or illness, and on an adhoc basis by other clients. In the majority of cases a second opinion is used to manage rehabilitation and broker a return to work between general practitioners, employees and employers. It is also used to manage employees with non occupational health problems, which may be affecting their work performance.
